When you’re hosting a baby shower, the goal is simple, everyone feels comfortable, the guest of honor feels celebrated, and you are not stuck stressing about food. At The Gran Centurions in Clark, New Jersey, we keep baby showers calm and easy by staying flexible with the menu and keeping the planning focused on what your group actually likes to eat.

A baby shower is still a real hosted event, so we treat it that way, with scratch made cuisine, clear package options, and a service window that fits how showers actually flow.

Baby showers feel more relaxed with flexible menu options because hosts can choose food that suits their guests without being locked into a fixed plan. This reduces stress, simplifies decisions, and creates a more comfortable atmosphere where guests can enjoy the event, socialize, and celebrate without feeling rushed or restricted by the menu.

Baby Showers

Flexible menus take the pressure off the host

A relaxed shower usually comes down to fewer decisions and fewer surprises. Our baby and bridal shower packages are built around a simple structure, you choose from categories like salad, pasta, entrées, and sides, and then we take it from there. That flexibility matters because it lets you plan around your guest list instead of forcing your guest list to fit a fixed menu.

A baby shower time block that fits gifts, photos, and catching up

Our baby shower events are a four hour event, served from 11 AM to 3 PM or Noon to 4 PM. That daytime timing works well for showers because it leaves room for arrivals, visiting, a meal, and the moments people care about, like photos and gifts, without feeling rushed.

Menu flexibility means you can plan for your crowd

Some families want a lighter feel, some want classic Italian favorites, and some want a little of both. We’re flexible on all our menus to suit the client, so you can build the shower around what your guests will actually enjoy.

In the shower packages, the menu is organized so you can select five items using the categories provided. You’ll see options like tossed salad, Caesar, Greek salad, mixed greens, pasta choices like penne vodka or rigatoni and broccoli, entrées like beef tips, sliced pork loin, eggplant rollantine, or meatballs, plus sides like roasted potatoes or rice pilaf. It’s a straightforward way to customize without turning planning into a long back and forth.

Scratch made food is one less thing to worry about

Food sets the tone at a shower. When it tastes homemade and thoughtful, the whole event feels warmer.

Our sauces and pasta are made fresh at The Gran Centurions. Owner and chef Garry Ruane is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, and Chef Ruane oversees his award winning culinary team. We also grow fresh herbs on site, which shows up in the kind of cooking guests remember, even at a daytime celebration.

What’s included in our baby shower packages

When hosts feel relaxed, it’s usually because the basics are already covered. Our shower package inclusions spell that out clearly.

Both the Shower Package and Shower Deluxe Package include a fresh fruit display, bruschetta, fresh baked rolls, a vegetable medley, a personalized shower cake, and soda, coffee, and tea. From there, you choose your salad, then build the rest of the menu from the listed categories.

If you want a brunch style shower, we also offer brunch package options with items like assorted fresh Danish and bagels, an elegant fresh fruit display, orange juice, coffee, and tea, along with hot brunch items like fluffy scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, pan seared potatoes, French toast with maple syrup, and homemade quiche. There are also optional chef stations, like an omelette station, a carving station, and a fresh waffle and ice cream station.

Conclusion

If you want a baby shower that feels easy for you and welcoming for your guests, flexible menu options make a real difference. We’ll help you choose a package, build a menu that fits your group, and host your shower in one of our banquet rooms in Clark, New Jersey.
